What excites me about my new position

I am excited to join Bern University of Applied Science (BFH) as a Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship, where I can contribute to its dynamic and forward-thinking academic environment. The chance to join an institution that prioritizes sustainability, inclusivity, and international collaboration aligns with my passion for advancing global entrepreneurship, innovation, and social impact. I am particularly excited about participating in BFH's international strategy, which seeks to connect diverse cultures and disciplines, and the potential to expand Executive Education programs. The opportunity to co-create global networks and strategic partnerships for enhanced knowledge transfer and innovation is truly inspiring. BFH's strong regional foundation and global reach provide a unique setting for international and intercultural collaboration. I look forward to contributing to its distinctive profile and supporting its influence globally.

By integrating my expertise in global venture ecosystems and passion for moonshot innovations, I plan to create learning experiences that empower students and professionals to drive social impact through radical innovations and business models. I am committed to advancing BFH's strategic objectives by promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and engaging in impactful research that addresses complex societal challenges. My goal is to enhance BFH's regional and global influence by fostering partnerships and networks that support sustainable development and a humane digital transformation. Through these efforts, I hope to contribute to BFH's reputation as a leader in entrepreneurship and innovation, while supporting its mission to create a resource-conserving economy and society.

It involves integrating sustainable practices into every aspect of life and business, fostering innovation that prioritizes social good, and building resilient systems that support both economic growth and environmental health. To me, sustainability is a shared responsibility that requires collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to making positive, lasting impacts on our planet and society.
