Gender- and diversity-sensitive language
Language shapes our reality and our thinking. That is why, in order to make equal opportunities possible, discrimination-free and inclusive language in which each and all are addressed equally is essential.
In the Diversity Policy, BFH is committed to respectful and discrimination-free communication. Recommendations for gender and diversity-sensitive language (2021) as well as a guideline on linguistic equality (2014) support BFH members in the implementation.
BFH participates in the Gisler Protocol. In doing so, it emphasises its commitment to gender-equitable communication and the promotion of diverse perspectives in education.
