Interview: Three questions for Noabelle Chegaing
Why are you studying opera?
Singing has always been my passion. I have been fascinated by classical music, its complexity and historical background since I was at music school.
What was your first encounter with opera?
We analysed arias and overtures in music lessons and I went to the opera with my parents from an early age.
Which is your favourite opera and why?
The first opera I went to was Carmen and it is still my favourite opera today. The romantic sounds of Bizet, the dramatic plot and the strong female role of Carmen captured my heart.
