Our bachelor's and master's modules and the CAS Health Economics and Public Health apply economic theory and recent scientific literature to the current challenges in the Swiss health care system.
Research and development
Our research focuses on empirical health economics, healthcare management and health technology assessment. We use methods from the fields of econometrics, causal analysis, empirical policy evaluation, systems thinking and economic evaluation of healthcare technology to answer your research questions.
Consulting services
We plan and implement prospective and retrospective policy evaluations, analyze clinical and real-world data, carry out simulation-assisted process optimizations and perform economic evaluations of medical technologies.
Teaching
Our training and continuing education programmes teach the basics of health economics and demonstrate the implications of scientific findings for the Swiss healthcare system.
