Situation
Regulating the emotional state and impulses of patients and managing their stress are essential elements of psychiatric and psychotherapeutic treatments. Up to now, however, research has focused mainly on inner-personal and interpersonal interventions. Only a few studies have investigated the impact of the rooms where therapy takes place. In this project, we aim to lower patients’ stress, calm their emotional state and support their well-being by optimising signage and design interventions.
