Biography
- Markus Schär is a lecturer at the Bern University of Applied Sciences BFH and responsible for international relations and global engagement in the Department of Architecture, Wood and Civil Engineering. He is also responsible for the Center for sustainable Development and Cooperation, which was launched as a BFH spin-off in April 2022.
Prior to his engagement at BFH, Markus Schär worked for several years in the areas of international development cooperation as well as organizational and leadership development at leading private institutions around the globe and for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in New York.
