We support companies in efficiently structuring their innovation activities and understanding the challenges of a changing world. Moreover, we help them meet these challenges with entrepreneurial thinking. To this end, the Institute offers a broad spectrum of research and services aimed at creating value for both companies and society.

Research and Development

Our research focusses predominantly on innovation, strategic entrepreneurship and the decision-making behaviour of consumers and companies. We work with numerous academic and entrepreneurial partners in Switzerland and elsewhere. We cooperate in particular on:

  • participation in collaborative application-oriented basic research projects, for example SNF and H2020
  • practice-oriented research and development with company-specific benefits, for example Innosuisse
  • contract research

Services

Our services are strongly geared to the needs of our customers and partners. Moreover, we translate and apply the findings of the latest international research to meet the challenges of Swiss companies. In particular we offer the following services:

Student Projects

Does your company need the answer to a challenging question or have a task which one of our students could work on? Please do not hesitate to contact us.

We supervise bachelor and master theses in the fields of business administration and business informatics, especially if they are research related. We charge a fee of (CHF 500.- to CHF 1000.-) depending on the amount of work involved.

Training and Continuing Education

We offer numerous interactive courses in the bachelor's and master's degree programs that specifically train an entrepreneurial mindset and approach, which provide insights into successful innovation management.

In the bachelor's specialization we offer the major "Management in Practice". This includes the following modules:
