Focus areas
You’ll study in a location with a strong med-tech cluster right at the heart of Europe and will focus on clinical application.
After acquiring basic knowledge, you’ll select one of three specialisations: Biomechanics, electronic implants or image-guided therapy (IGT).

A wide choice of additional modules is available, allowing you to put together a tailored programme. You will complete your master’s thesis in an assigned research group or in a field of industrial research.
Admission Requirements
Automatic admission is granted to students with a bachelor in one of the following areas:
Microtechnology, System Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Physics and Computer Science.
Students with other degrees or non-Swiss degrees can also apply. Their dossier will be reviewed individually.
