Christine Moos is a senior scientist and lecturer with a special focus in protective forests in mountains. She investigates how forests can be appropriately quantified and valued as a nature-based solution for natural hazard risk reduction. She thereby thrives for creating a basis for practical implementations in forest and natural hazard management. Furthermore, she teaches methods and principles for a sustainable and effective protective forest management to tomorrow’s forest engineers.
