Forum Innovation Sociétale
The Forum Innovation Sociétale, organized by the University of Lausanne and supported by BFH, addresses the question of how the healthcare system can be made more socially sustainable.
30.04.2025, 3.30pm–7.45pm – UniL, Amphimax 351, Rte de la Sorge 9, 1015 Lausanne
The event will bring together a series of renowned speakers to discuss the main theme: “Healthcare in Crisis: Where Does the Change Come From?” Through lectures and panel discussions, myths surrounding the Swiss healthcare system, pathways to healthcare in the future, and the role of education and its influence on value systems will be explored.
In the second part of the event, the “Prix du Forum”, worth 10,000 CHF, will be awarded. This prize recognizes a university project that practically implements social innovation. BFH is represented in the competition by the start-up eClimber, which manufactures a device that not only secures climbers but also actively assists them. This makes climbing accessible to people with injuries, physical limitations, or mobility issues. With its focus on social inclusion, eClimber exemplifies the focus of the Forum.
Last but not least, the Forum is, of course, a great opportunity for networking. Anyone working on social inclusion or the development of healthcare is warmly invited to attend the event.
