Situation
In the administration, data must always be linked to basic registers. These include, for example, the municipality register and the state calendar. These basic registers are themselves subject to certain changes: Municipalities change their names and merge with other municipalities, and the organisation chart of authorities is subject to constant change. The links to these basic registers should be able to take this dynamic into account.
Course of action
Within the framework of this project, the municipality register and the state calendar will be converted into RDF/Linked Data in order to map the dynamics of these directories and make it possible to link other data to them.
Result
In addition to the concept for versioning basic registers as RDF/Linked Data, a documentation of the entire Linked Data ecosystem of the Confederation (LINDAS) will be created. Furthermore, the idea of Linked Data will be presented to a larger audience in form of a "Linked Data Day".
