Biography
- Omar Ramon Serrano Oswald (欧山), holds a PhD in Political Science & International Relations from the Graduate Institute, Geneva; an M.Sc. in Global Politics from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a Licenciatura in International Political Economy & International Relations from ITAM University.
- Since September 2022 he is Professor for Global and Intercultural Management at the Institute for Marketing & Global Management. Previously, he has been Principal Investigator and Research Associate at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), and at the University of St. Gallen (HSG); Senior Researcher and Lecturer at the Universities of Geneva and Lucerne; and Visiting Fellow and Guest Professor in various universities in China (Fudan, UIBE, Hunan), India (Jawaharlal Nehru University), Brazil (FGV), and Mexico (ITAM).
- He is author of the book The Domestic Sources of European Foreign Policy (Amsterdam University Press, 2013) and articles in top-ranked academic journals such as the Review of International Political Economy (RIPE), New Political Economy and Regulation & Governance. He speaks English, Spanish, German, Mandarin, French, Portuguese and Italian. His research in the areas of International Political Economy, Global Management, and International Relations combines qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
