Biography
- Sabrina Stöckli studied business administration, economics, and social sciences at the University of Bern, where she completed her Bachelor's and Master's degrees with a focus on marketing. She then earned her doctorate in the Consumer Behavior department at the University of Bern.
From 2014 to 2024, Sabrina Stöckli worked as a research assistant and later as a senior research assistant in the Consumer Behavior department at the University of Bern. In 2021, she also conducted research as a senior research assistant at the College of Social Sciences and International Studies in the Department of Politics at the University of Exeter. Since December 2021, she has been a senior research assistant at the Chair of Marketing at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Informatics at the University of Zurich. As of March 2025, Sabrina Stöckli is a Professor of Social Marketing at the Bern University of Applied Sciences.
Sabrina Stöckli conducts research and teaches in the areas of consumer psychology, behavior change, and social marketing in the context of health- and environment-related behavior. Her research focuses particularly on how and why people change their behavior, and how such changes can be encouraged through targeted interventions – for example, to reduce food waste or to promote environmentally friendly and healthy dietary choices.
